In the design process, Nordhale uses excess pieces from a felt factory to reduce the amount of industrial material that ends up in the environment. Industrial felt is made of synthetic water-repellent fibers and is lightweight. The stiff material makes Nordhale products durable, well-shaped, yet sustainable, and easy to care for.
